Code number for what?  Roku no longer uses that system for linking Roku devices, so I assume you are linking some channel to your account on that channel’s system.  Usually anything that gives you a code number, also tells you what URL to go to.

I was messing around on my tablet and downloaded Roku on it but was not connected. I went to my TV to check if the channel had been added and it was, but it would not open the channel saying to go to URL and give the code number below. On my account page it said for add channel by code to go to store. That doesn't work, channel has been loaded. So, how do I get it to open. Thank you for your help..

What channel?  What URL?

I know the latter question is the same question you are asking, but I have never heard of a channel saying literally "go to URL" and you haven't mentioned the specific channel yet so I don't even know how to guess what the URL might be.

The Frank Speech channel. I just tried again.... it tells me to use the url and enter the code below. It is a different code each time I leave and come back

Go to the URL listed on the screen, yes it's https://home.frankspeech.com/connect, via the browser on your computer or mobile device (whatever you're using to read this message).   That's where you'll need to enter the code shown on your Roku.

Be advised that I just tried this and the site is only giving me a page advertising a 48 hour "streaming summit" starting today (August 20, 2022) at 9AM (presumably Eastern time).   On the page itself there are only fields to input my Email and Phone number and nowhere to input the Roku code.

I'd suggest waiting 48 hours until the streaming event they are promoting is over.  Maybe they'll restore the page where you can activate the Frankspeech app.
