I have the same issue kind of. Seems to ho to Home Screen at the end of any live program. 2 rokus and 2 roku TVs. So its not the roku device. Annoying!!

I have the same problem, which started on Thursday, Oct. 28th. Only with Hulu, every ~30 minutes it returns to the Roku Home screen from whatever show we're watching.

Same here. My ROKU Express+ shows no updates available. I have restarted to device using the System menu and had reset using the power cord. Very frustrating.

I have the same problem, started yesterday. Tried deleting Hulu and power off. Re install Hulu, same issue.

Hulu keeps stopping and going to the Roku home page at the top of every hour, is there a setting I cannot find which might be toggled on which is causing this, it is not a buffering issue with the Internet and is happening on all 4 of our Roku devices, can anyone help!

We are experiencing the exact same thing.  It's *only* with Hulu and just happened at the top of the hour (haven't noticed the other times but it may very well be).  Clearly Hulu has changed something in the app or service that is causing this issue,

ours is doing the same thing, but doesn't do it all day and night and also it is precisely 60 minute intervals.

i have all timers disabled deleted stale connections, updated firmware reset device multiple times.

Mine stared last night (10/31/2021) and all day today, so far. It actually kicks me back to the home page, every hour, on the hour. So far just the HULU app, and I've yet to try another.

Thanks for the posts.

We would recommend checking for a channel update by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button > Check for update, then seeing if the issue persists.

Please keep us posted what you find out.

Thanks for the reply Danny. My previous version of Hulu was 6.53 Build 0 but now it's 6.53 Build 1. Looks as if Hulu may have updated it recently. It will still briefly go black and buffer very quickly only one time but then Hulu still stays open and will continue playing after that with no interruptions or cutouts. Hopefully it stays this way. Would be nice if it didn't have the cutout but its much better than it was. I'll keep an eye on it.
