When using Roku Hulu it flips to Home Screen after approx 30 minutes

When in Roku and using the Hulu channel it will play for 30 minutes and then go back to the Home Screen. I have deleted the channel, cleared / reset Roku, re added the channel and it is still doing this. It only started yesterday

Re: When using Roku Hulu it flips to Home Screen after approx 30 minutes

I have the same problem, too. This just started a week or so ago. I have the Ultra and it's plugged into the router. I have a Samsung and have been using this TV and Roku Ultra for few years with out this issue.  Now the home screen appears after watching only Hulu for 15 minutes +/-.  I deleted Hulu and rebooted Roku and still have this problem. Bandwidth Saver has always been off. Any suggestions on how  to resolve this problem?

@SMJ @R0kUser @Karyl -

Please check your Roku software version via Settings > System About.

I suspect this relates to Roku version 10.5 which is currently rolling out and that Hulu needs to update the Roku version of their channel app to accommodate it.

I haven't received 10.5 yet and Hulu is not doing this on any of my three Rokus.

Same here.  It started about every hour, then half hour, now less than 10 minutes.  I'm on 10.0, model 4640X.

Re: When using Roku Hulu it flips to Home Screen after approx 30 minutes

I'm having the same exact issue. I just recently bought four Roku 4k + Express and they were a 180 degree difference from my old Firesticks; however, when watching Hulu, it was initially saying "Sorry. Can't load this right now". After several minutes of watching. Called Hulu and they said this was a known issue.

Now, as of a few days ago, after exactly 30 minutes its kicking me out to the homescreen now.

Pretty frustrating considering we use Hulu for our live TV. This only happens on our Roku devices and with Hulu. Nothing else.

Hope they fix this soon. Spent all this money on these and there's glitches in the software.

Same issue. Started Thursday morning. I don't have version 10.5 yet so that's not what's causing it for me.

Re: When using Roku Hulu it flips to Home Screen after approx 30 minutes top of every hour?

Mine started doing this thursday also, I think.

Seems to do it at the top of the hour.

Roku 4800X

version 10.0.0 4209-C2

Samsung TV.

Also have 4670Xs

All 3 are doing it.

The 4800X, usually gets kicked out of hulu inside of 4 hours.  The usual boxes have been set, power saver turned off, are you there off, etc.  Just seems to have suddenly gotten worse.

(2) Roku Ultras 4670X, Ultra 4800X, Samsung Q8 tv, Samsung NU7100 tv, Plex streaming from NAS
