When I click on an app, it kicks me back to the homepage

so I turned on my TV and clicked on one of my streaming apps and it looked like it was going to load and then it kicked me back to the homepage. I tried it with several apps and it does the same thing with all of them so I’m not really sure what’s going on

@Mom72

Try performing a System Restart on the Roku device. (Settings/System/System Restart or Settings/System/Power/System Restart) and try rebooting your router.

Re: When I click on an app, it kicks me back to the homepage

@Mom72This problem might also be associated with channel congestion, a common occurrence when using service provider modem/router. In order to find out, install WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar from Apple. Once installed, tap the app and take note of how many others are using the same channel/band as you then learn the login/password for the router and DISABLE the 'auto' feature for channel selection and manually change to one with less congestion. Monitoring channels tends to produce better results and speed.
