Help & troubleshooting for channels on your Roku device, including adding/removing channels, logging in to, authenticating, or activating a channel, channel-specific playback issues, assistance contacting channel publishers to report issues, and adjusting channel-specific settings.
Since yesterday, the weather4us channel crashes on startup. Can not load beyond initial screen. Pop up screen says can not access local data. I did the usual uninstall, restart Roku, reinstall. Same result. Channel no longer works. Sent email to developer. No response. My other 3 weather channels work fine. Only Weather4us is dead. Anyone else having same problem? Weather4us is version 3.5 build 6. My Roku Express running 9.0 software
Love(ed) Weather4US for 2 years - then it crashed about early January 2020. Notice was having "a software problem". It came back and has never worked since. On launch it loads, shows screen shot for a second, then crashes back to Roku home screen. Tried everything possible to get it back, checked wi-fi, deleted and reinstalled (it asks for zip code and all), yet on startup, same problem. Called tech services, went through all steps again, same problem. Would sure love to get it working.. Shows version 3.5 Build 11. EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS.
different question - why was Reuters News Service discontinued? Liked it too.
Weather for none...signed up for lifetime subscription but now their monetization game has gone awry. Ads on top of an attempted software update. Still have weather but NO screen saver. New screen saver!
Weather4us launches but temperature for casting has way, way off for months. For example, three different weather stations forecast a high of between 62-66 degrees for my area today. Weather4us forecasts 80 degrees. The station is really high and very low. During the past winter it predicted snow and snow storms. We haven't had snow stay on the ground for any amount of time since 1963-1964.
For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
