Unable to sign in onscreen to subscribed Curiosity Stream, Acorn and Brit Box channels

I previously had an older Roku stick. Upgraded to Roku Express+. Most channels work fine. The subscribed channels I pay for monthly (Curiosity Stream, Acorn and Brit Box) will not accept my sign in. I'm using my Roku account sign in, which works online to get into my account. i even tried changing my password and that doesn't work either.

same issue.  I can download the acorn and prime video app but I can't watch without re--signing up to those .  I pay for the subscriptions .  I have internet only.  Shouldn't I be able to authenticate that I have an active account to those, that is paid up?

@burksin @deena250

Thanks for the post.

For more information about those channel's authentication and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

Thanks,
Danny

I have the same problem with Britbox I enter and they want me to subscribe but Roku already took my payment. If this cannot be resolved now I will discontinue roku for another company you are not tjhe only ones and I want my money for unused channel returned.

@Jan_Gualtiere

Thanks for the post.

If you are subscribed through Roku Pay, how are you trying to access the channel? Are you trying to access the channel directly or are you trying through The Roku Channel?

With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Danny
