No error messages.  It just forces me to login everytime i open the app.

Please be informed that if you have subscribed to the channel directly through Roku, your credentials can only be used on the Roku platform or Roku devices and TVs. It is important to check that the email address on your Roku device matches the email address you used to subscribe to the channel.

We highly recommend following the steps below to see if they can solve the issue:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote Scroll > Settings System About to check your email address. 
  2. Remove the channel. Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press (*) to open the Options menu. Select remove channel and confirm.
  3. Restart your Roku device. Go to Settings > System > Power (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step) > System restart.
  4. Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

This doesn’t APPLY to most of us as we have NO PROBLEM using MAX on other devices 

 

THIS IS A ROKU ISSUE! The way Rku devices identify to Max with their ridiculous new account policy! 

I have ZERO ISSUES using Max across my Apple TV 4K , Xbox’s, PlayStation’s or ANY other device besides ALL my Rokus. This has been going on for over 3 Months now .

 

i have 7 Rokus in my house and they are the ONLY devices with issues! 

maybe its time to sell them ALL! I’ve already factory reset 4 Rokus TVs and turned them into dumb devices and use other devices to stream now since this has yet to be resolved. I pay MAX directly a YEAR at a time for a functioning service and it works PERFECTLY as long as I don’t use a ROKU!

I didn’t subscribe through roku. I got the hulu max bundle and subscribed on the hulu website. It is the same email address as my Roku though. No problems with hulu

i understand this maybe a max issue on Roku but sure doesn’t seem like anyone is motivated to fix it. Very strange

Actually this seems to have worked!!

 When i reinstalled max i selected add app not subscribe to max. It didn’t even have me login this time. Seemed to know. 
 Thank you
