Thanks for the post.
Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? What are the steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing? What troubleshooting steps have you already taken to try to resolve the issue?
Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted what you find out.
Thanks,
Danny
I've already tried everything in the steps you listed. Multiple times. Just for grins, I just tried it again with the same result. It opens to the splash screen, then goes no further.
The Roku Channel Store still lists the latest This Old House app available as v3.6 build 0 from Jan 4, 2021. If there has been a new version released in the last few weeks, as the ToH zendesk reps insist, it is not available in my Roku Channel Store.
I have three Roku devices (Ultra, Premier, and 4k Stick) and this problem exists on all of them, so the problem does not reside on just one device.
Thanks for the follow up.
For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
Thanks,
Danny
I have already contacted the channel provider support directly, with no resolution.
The channel provider is This Old House...which is owned, coincidentally, by...you guessed it: Roku.
That, by the way is why I (and probably the other users on this thread reporting similar problems) I am here posting messages.
@JermFive, the This Old House channel/app is developed by "This Old House Ventures".

Correct...and "This Old House Ventures" was bought by Roku in May 2021.

Is there something that is preventing the newly fixed app version from being shown in the Roku Channel Store?
That's interesting; I did not know that. I have to wonder about this whole app version thing. I have the same version as you and it works for me. I'm wondering if the version is just a red herring.
