Unfortunately have had the same experience as you. WAs excited when 1st got Roku but now really doubt I'll go watch anything. Feels like watching a long commercial.

@Chifu You may not have noticed yet that there are thousands of channels on a Roku device besides "The Roku Channel" Some with no commercials at all, so you should be able to find something you like.
I don't watch The Roku Channel either, and for the same reason, but I don't miss it with all the other stuff.
