Tennis Channel app auto logged me out on Feb 19, 2025 while I was viewing a match on TC Plus. This Roku app then prompted me to subscribe or to log in. My subscription is current and I was able to open the Apple TC Plus app on my ipad. I next deleted and reinstalled TC app on my Roku device using the Apple Roku app on my ipad. Following this step, I checked for TC Roku app update and reset and created a new password. Unfortunately the Roku TC app won’t accept my new password. The Roku model is Ultra LT. Are there any other Roku TC Plus users experiencing this problem
Hi, @JMH3
Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community.
I understand the issue you are experiencing with the Tennis Channel app not accepting your new password. I'm here to guide you to the appropriate support for resolving this matter.
For assistance, it's best to contact Tennis Channel support directly. They manage customer account credentials and can help you regain access to your account on the Roku app.
To contact them, you can refer to Tennis Channel | Support Team
I hope this will be sorted out soon, and let us know if you need further assistance.
Thanks,
The Roku Community Team.
I would try logging into the Tennis channel on your computer and reset the password there, then try logging into the app on your devices.
Thanks for the suggestion. I did go to the tennis channel from my ipad and reset my tc plus password. The Apple Tennis Channel app does accept my new password on my ipad and iphone. However, the Roku Channel Tennis Channel app still won’t accept either the new or previous password.
That's why I suggested going to the website on a computer instead of the Apple app. Wanted to see if it would reset everything from there.
After removing the channel, but BEFORE reinstalling it, did you RESTART** your Roku to clear its memory cache? Without the restart you may not get a clean reinstall. This is not a cure-all but at least it will assure you of having an uncorrupted copy of the current version of the channel app.
Depending on your Roku model number you'll find the "System restart" option under either "Settings > System > Power" or under "Settings > System". If you don't have sufficient control to use the menus, or if it is just more convenient, you can also restart by pulling the power plug for a short while, then plugging it back in.
**On a Roku TV with "Fast TV Start" enabled, turning the TV off/on only puts you in/out of a low power standby state, it does NOT give you a complete restart. Use the methods above.
I tried all of the suggested fixes, but still was unable to sign into Roku Tennis Channel app. Tennis Channel tech support strongly suggested that I either use a 2022 or later Roku box or an Amazon Fire Stick. I’ve subsequently purchased an Amazon Fire Stick. I added all of my Roku Channels to the Amazon Fire Stick and all Channels including Tennis Channel Plus work with no problems. I successfully signed in on the Tennis Channel app on the first try. Problem solved. My Roku Ultra LT was manufactured in 2020 and was out of date and no longer compatible with the Tennis Channel software updates. A 2022 or later Roku box might very well have also worked correctly with the Roku Tennis Channel app, but I opted for the Amazon Fire Stick instead.
