TCM needing a TV Provider?

When I sign up on the Roku app, TCM says I need a TV provider. Is this really necessary? Is there a work around?

Re: TCM needing a TV Provider?

No, there's no workaround. Many providers are only available if you have some sort of TV provider. Historically that meant either cable or satellite TV. However, there are now several streaming providers that can be your "TV provider". Some examples are Fubo TV, YouTube TV and Sling TV. There might be others, but these are the three largest that serve the US market.
