Was this issue ever resolved? I'm having the problem as of 2 weeks ago and I'm using Roku via Verizon Fios. Some movies are playing and others just get a spinning icon and no playback. It's really frustrating.
Earlier today I received the following email in response to contact I made with TCM over this issue some time ago:

Over the last few weeks, Warner Bros. Discovery has been dealing with a technical issue that has affected several of the company's apps, including Watch TCM. This is a high priority for the network, and our team is working hard to get it back up to speed.
We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed as more updates become available.

So no real progress. You'll get an occasional film show up that will load, but they are the minority. Same thing affecting other platforms than Roku, including the TCM website.
Thanks so much for the detailed response. At least they're working on it. I have no idea why a fix should be so complicated for a corporation of that size. It's pretty lame.
