Syncing Channels and Channel Settings

Jump to solution

Hello,

I have 4 Roku devices and they are all linked to my account.  I have read through several Roku Community posts about linking multiple devices and sharing channel tiles across all the devices.  Should the already linked devices also be linking and syncing channel settings?  Such as sign-in and account details?

Currently, I'm having to go to each device and sign-in to channels like Netflix, Showtime, XFinity, etc.  It is very time consuming and makes it difficult to maintain 4 different devices. Please Help!

Thank you

Channels are sync'd across devices, but not user credentials. Those must be entered on each device. That's a security feature, as your credentials are not stored in the Roku cloud where they could be hacked.

While each device linked to the same user account will have the same channels installed, there are a couple of caveats. First, if a device won't support a channel that works on other devices, then that channel won't appear and cannot be added. The second is that while the channels are sync'd, their location on the home screen is independent on each device.
