Spotify will not open and just says it “can’t run channel” and to check connection. I’ve checked for system updates, I’ve removed the app and redownloaded it, I’ve done a complete system reset and I also tried removing all the channels and adding them again. Nothing worked. There are no new system updates available when I check. I’ve also reached out to Spotify and they told me the issue is coming from Roku.
I have had the same issue with no end in sight, after the Roku update, Spotify will no longer open. I have removed and rebooted and reinstalled the app same issue want open. I have reached out to Spotify on Twitter says to their issue.
I have been having the same issue for about 2 months with TCL-Roku TV. I have deleted the app from the tv about 6 times and then reload it. It doesn't open to even get me to the log in.
My app works just fine on my iphone. But my iphone doesn't recognize my tv anymore.
Spent 2 hours on a chat with spotify today , a guy in the Philippines, and his last statement was to contact Roku. All my software keeps coming back as OK and that I have the latest updates. The last one was June 29, 2021. Don't know what else to try. I don't want to do a factory reset because I think all my subscriptions will be lost.
