It is not a spectrum issue Roku has not renewed spectrums contract. And says not to delete their app cause then you won't get it back.
Roku will not allow anyone to stream spectrum and is also doing the same to other apps and will charge us more for less.
@ashleyfields wrote:we just recently moved and had to have internet installed at our new place. Now our roku devices/tvs will not load or let us log into the spectrum streaming app... it there anyway to fix this?
No - See response in other thread.
Yep, today they erased it from my Channel store without my consent. I am done with ROKU. I have ordered Firesticks and suggest you do the same.
Dump your ROKU and buy a streaming stick from Amazon or another provider. Absolutely a horrible decision. So disappointed I hitched my wagon to Roku, never again,.
FYI, Fire TV devices do not have access to the Spectrum TV app (and sideloading it wont work either).
You can call/contact Spectrum support and explain the app was accidentally deleted/removed, and they will give you a private/developer link to the Spectrum TV app with a code to reinstall it (assuming you still qualify: continuous TV service since mid-December, etc)
Thanks yall! I contacted spectrum and they were able to fix it... as long as you had it before on your current device and have been a spectrum customer, you can get your access back... from what I was told its only new users to the spectrum app who can't download and use spectrum app on roku.
