Has anyone figured out a better method of going through the hundreds of channels on Roku Live TV than by using the app to go through them one by one and hiding and marking as favorite the ones you want?
Not sure what you are trying to accomplish or what your complaint is from your question.
There is a reference guide here I made that has all the channel numbers listed into categories that may help you with navigation and identification. https://community.roku.com/t5/Channel-Issues-Questions/Roku-Channel-Live-TV-Guide-List-Reference-Lis...

Reportedly, the upcoming 11.5 OS update is going to be adding to be adding a category section (presumably similar to Pluto and others) that should make navigation a bit easier as well.

If you simply want to Hide some of the available channels in order to limit the number available to you, you can either create a Favorites List like you are doing, or you can "Hide" channels from the guide.
When in the Roku Channel Live TV Guide, go all the way to the left (where the numbers are), and press the * button (options button) on your Roku Remote. From the "Channel Options" popup menu that appears, select "Hide this Channel".

Roku is supposed to be adding back the Live TV Categories within Roku’s Live TV Channel Guide. It includes a Subscription category that will list only the subscription services that have live channels, as well as others like news and movies. Not sure when that is supposed to happen, but it couldn't happen soon enough, IMO.
