Sold roku tv without resetting it

I removed the sold tv from my account but when I downloaded the Hulu app on my tv the app was from their account.  Their names were listed as users not mine or my families. Somehow I’m watching on someone else’s Hulu account?

We appreciate you for reaching out here regarding your concern. Rest assured that we will assist you in the best way we can.

May we first know if you have performed a hard reset on your Roku streaming player before using it? Also, is the account linked to your TV, your personal Roku account?

If an existing Roku account is linked to the player/TV you purchased, it's best to factory reset it to delete all of the existing data and make it your personal device. This includes the data saved/linked to all of the apps installed.
