My problem sounds similar to this old thread. I didn't have this problem before but a few days ago the SlingTV app started stalling every 7 minutes and now it no longer loads on any of my Roku devices. It just shows the splash screen and then a rotating circle. This is version 8.144 Build 18835. I tried the de-install/re-install but no change. The app on my android devices works fine. All other apps on my Roku are fine.

After removing the channel, but BEFORE reinstalling it, RESTART** your Roku to clear its memory cache. Without the restart you may not get a clean reinstall. This is not a cure-all but at least it will assure you of having an uncorrupted copy of the current channel app.
Depending on your Roku model number you'll find the "System restart" option under either "Settings > System > Power" or under "Settings > System". If you don't have sufficient control to use the menus, or if it is just more convenient, you can also restart by pulling the power plug for a short while, then plugging it back in.
**On a Roku TV with "Fast TV Start" enabled, turning the TV off/on only puts you in/out of a low power standby state, it does NOT give you a complete restart. Use the methods above.
Thanks for the suggestion but I did do a restart of my Roku Streambar between uninstalling and reinstalling the app. So unfortunately that doesn't solve my problem. The fact that nobody else seems to have this problem suggests something specific to my system. Could it be a hardware issue with the Streambar?

Turns out that 3 or 4 days after posting it suddenly started working again. It's still the same app version and I changed nothing (I was using the android app in the meantime) but I checked it each day and eventually it started working. Go figure!

Thanks RokuJharra-Q but I wouldn't call this a workaround. One minute it didn't work and a few days later it did work. I did nothing to my system between those events.
