Same here. Worked fine until yesterday then no live feed

says internet problem but my internet fine

roku says it is a sky problem 

sky says it is a Roku problem

may have to get rid of Roku and get fire stick

Confirmed that it finally started working again.  Roku seems to have issues with different apps every so often.  Never find out what the real problem is.

My Sky News feed is working again. Hopefully it’s been restored for everyone.

Sky News livestream has now started working again on the Roku app after a day of not working. (I'm in Philadelphia). Strangely though they are broadcasting the UK adverts during the breaks, when they normally fill in with news images. Something odd is going on.

We believe that this issue has been resolved. However, if you are still experiencing some problems with Sky News, removing the channel then re-installing it may help. To ensure the process is successful, make sure to restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.

For sure it’s only a matter of time before there will be highly localized advertising capability on Sky News, particularly given its ownership by Comcast.
