No you are not paying Roku to watch Showtime. That is what you chose to do your billing. Most people subscribe through the specific website. If you want Showtime go to Showtime .com and make an account. Then download the Showtime channel on your Roku and login. Again Showtime makes the Showtime channel. You are just using your Roku account to pay for Showtime. Do this. Cancel your billing through Roku. Do your billing directly from Showtime. You will see no difference.
Dude I’m sorry, but you a wrong. I know the difference between the Roku channel Showtime and the Showtime app. And I tried already in the beginning to just logging to the Showtime channel and I was denied as it’s only accessible via the Roku channel version.
you guys have fun arguing over who should provide level 1 support for the Roku channel provided service…I’m out.
