I love my Roku, but I was sickened when I saw "Real America's Voice" front and center on the Roku Channel. Yet another disinformation Chanel disguised as "news"? I found someone had posted a Fast and Co article about Roku's promotion of ONN last year, and many were criticizing the post for not tolerating other "conservative" or "right leaning" "viewpoints. But they clearly don't understand what that means. 

News should mean facts, not conspiracy theories, disinformation and lies. Lies are not just "a point of view, they are lies that can destroy. Politically "Conservative" includes things like the Rule of Law, not people who try to dismantle our legal system, democratic processes... beat up cops with American or traitor Confederate flags.

Disinformation is FALSE information, not just a different "viewpoint". Sorry you drank the "alternative-truth"   "Kool-Aid" (Actually Flavor-Aid, since we are talking about "facts"), and want to believe in alternative truth, but I hope you do some true,  unbiased digging and real research about some of your alternative "view points".

What's at stake for an informed electorate is crucial for a functioning democracy, this country and you regardless of what party you belong to, and truth is truth.

Calling an entire channel "disinformation" is a red flag to me.  Blanketing it with claims of "lies" not citing anything specific, or offering evidence why it is a lie, just tells me that the person making the claim is not serious.  They are just angry that an opposing view exists and have made up their mind to destroy anything connected to that opposing view, with the belief that there is nothing more powerful than their ability to complain and make vague sweeping claims.  This is a tactic that has been so overused it has worn out its impact, effectiveness and welcome.  

I am happy to view channels I trust, as well as avoid channels I don't trust.  When people watch channels I don't trust, it doesn't make me want to complain that the channel exists.  It makes me happy to know there are opposing views offered to those who hold different perspectives. It means we're still free to decide what WE choose based on our own discernment.  When you reach a point where everyone agrees with one point of view and nobody expresses an opposing point of view, you've lost all your freedom to choose anything. You will drink the (flavor-ade) given you, or not drink at all.  Agree or be disappeared is not a choice.

I don't believe in burning books or flat out banning of a channel, and I agree with you that I overgeneralized "an entire channel".  I agree people should read whatever they want, but I was only complaining about the PROMOTING OF a channel that portrays itself as "news" and frequently and repetitively promotes lies,  not just alternate viewpoints.

It's not about just certain "news" sources, I'm very against lies and disinformation very disturbed by the plethora of channels that regularly misinform people. I don't need tons of citations when there are so many ways for the responsible consumers of information to fact check and see how reliably truthful source it. Many people I know only want to "research" with connive bias, and only want to read or hear what they want to.

Time will tell. Truth will prevail. This channel is the most informative truth of News and updates that give the other side of the stories being told. Also Christian base that would be understandably why many Liberals would object. It gives hope and encouragement we need to rise up above all the craziness forced on us all as a whole. Or targeted because we choose to be positive and live above all obstacles brought against us. Walking in Love and boldness. It's growing and growing fast. With Liberty and Constitutional facts. Truth over lies exposes those who really love America and God. Love love love it!

Yes, truth eventually always prevails.  Patience is key, in a world of propaganda.  Some truth takes decades to prevail.  

I still haven't read the OP's specific "lies" being complained about.  Promotion of lies?  What lies? If the purpose is to protect others from believing a lie, citing the specific lie would be where you start.  Calling a person a liar would require citation of what they are lying about, to be taken seriously.  Otherwise it's just a tool of propaganda.  The person complaining (they are liars) without revealing the specific lie is a means to persuade a reader to go along and believe what the complainer is stating, without question.  

I don't subscribe to believing organizations or individuals are (liars and lying) without knowing what I'm being told they are lying about.  This is what Big Tech has adopted as a means to (other) those who do not submit in lockstep with their promoted beliefs.  To discover truth, you first must identify the specific "lie".  Continuing your purpose by holding to generalized terms that (they are liars) does not seek truth.  It only perpetuates the tool of propaganda and exposes the intent of the the person campaigning against those they disagree with.  They do not want debate.  They want compliance and blind agreement.  It's encouraging to know more people are waking up to this tactic and realizing it is a means to remove free speech.  

We still have no idea what "lie" is being claimed here.  That's discouraging and enlightening at the same time.

That is why I stand on God's Words not man's. Some folks you can't believe anything coming from their mouths. Exception if they were reading straight out of the King James Bible. It stands regardless. And all will come to light eventually. As in Isaiah 40. Also from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Remembering always. First. Where's there's doubt leave it out. Second. That's funny you say news should mean facts. If that is the case why is MSNBC consider news? Why is CNN considered a news station? And why are so many others in the mainstream media considered news? Certainly if you want just one sided news I guess they would be news for you. I happen to enjoy more than one side. Real America is a new station it also has people with opinions, just like a lot of other so-called new stations. Obviously you do not consider it news because you may not agree on everything that's said on there. Well you're going to have to learn to deal with that. We are all not alike.
