For whatever reason most of the time for me the channels fail to load the first time but are ok on the second atempt. I don't know that this will help you but thats what happens here on a roku express.
Ok i been trying for 4 days to add channels. I used this roku player before and had no problems. Now ive restarted. Updated it. Unlinked it from acct. Factory resetted it and i still cant add channels. Not even the ones that i added online thru my acct. Obviously the solution is not fixed. It says the roku channel service is currently not available try again later. N 4 days later no channels load and i cant work around it either. Of course im upset n angry about it. N i know your trying to fix the problem. But i have no clue if the problem is the same as everyone else is having or not. But ive tried everything including the reset button in back n still wont work. Pls tell me what to do to fix it. My kid is driving me nutz...
Yea, no it has not been resolved. WTF Roku, y'all have just one job, only one: Stream. Can't stream if not able to add streams. So .........
Unable to add private channels. The website allows a person to type in the channel name and select the "I'm not a robot box" but does nothing when the AddChannel button is selected. Attempted with multiple channels and multiple devices using different browsers.
Have you thought about a private channel add feature from the Roku device? The ability to type the channel name into the Roku streaming device.
NO NO NO still can’t log in to Sundance.. planning on cancelling all my channels from Roku and RE buying from HULU cause this is a ridiculous waste of time!!!
When attempting to manually install a channel using a code through the https://my.roku.com/account/add web page, I can put in the code, select not a robot, & submit, but I get no warning acknowledgement & the channel is not added.
On the east coast of the states, it won't let me add any channels at all...doesn't even give a message, just blinks like nothing happened when I enter a channel code
I can't add a channel, it quickly refreshes and does not add the channel.
ROKU will not connect to Samsung TV starting 9/27. Past couple of months have had to reboot internet when switching from cable to ROKU.

It seems like it is NOT doing the handshake to the back end.
For example, if the captcha is incorrect, it responds in the same way, however
the captcha is just a check box that indicates it is selected correctly.
Maybe captcha is broken, or the back end validation is broken.
Either way, I can't add channels. I refreshed and tried in different browser, and cleared cache of browser, still not working. 9-28-2021 6am east coast USA
