Sci fi favorite classic channel

I’m curious why they decided to start running commercials on a subscription that I paid for to be commercial free…. I cancelled the station… I love this channel but I’m not gonna pay for something and then not get what I paid for…. Drop the commercial and I stay… keep the commercial and it’s stopped

Reach out to the channel's customer support that you are subscribed to. Unless it is a Roku owned channel, you would need to contact the channel/provider directly.

@awbarrey

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback about the commercials you've experienced on the Roku streaming platform, particularly on the Classic Sci-Fi Favorites channel.

We suggest that you contact the channel provider to share your insights. They are responsible for managing and maintaining their app independently on the Roku platform. Your input is valuable, and we appreciate your engagement.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Thanks,
The Roku Community Team

Re: Sci fi favorite classic channel

I’m sorry but all the information I get for this channel (sci fi) comes under the heading of ROKU and there’s no other means of communication other than through the parent channel which I’m guessing is Roku… so it cancels tomorrow and if streaming can’t get its act together I won’t stop there probably.

more will follow

thanks and never mind

Re: Sci fi favorite classic channel

What is the name of the channel?

If you look on the page of the specific app you are referring, you can see who developed the app and then google search that developer to find their contact pages, especially if they do not publish a channel website with contact information.  For example, one sci-fi app that I found called Classic Sci-fi, if you scroll down on the page, you see it is developed by a company called Play now, which have their own website.

Roku does not control third party apps/channels that appear in the Roku app store other than to ensure they follow the rules regarding legitimate content.

Doesn't that app say "Press * to Join our Email List" at the top of the screen?

That sounds like a place where you could contact them!
