Roku takes over Samsung HDMI2 input

Recently purchased a 3960X Roku Express & connected to my Samsung TV’s HDMI-2 input. The TV’s HDMI-1 input is connected to a Verizon TV box. After watching channels on the Roku device, I switched the TV back to HDMI-1 input. I then get a message “Anynet+ device is not connected. Pls chk connection & retry”. I can’t get the TV switched back to HDMI-1. When I check, the tv has switched back to the HDMI-2 input. This happens everytime I switch back to the HDMI-1 input. The only way I get control back is to cycle power on the TV. Is this Roku device defective? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Fred

@Fredd2

May be a CEC conflict. Try disabling 1-touch Play on your Roku device.

Try going into Settings/System/Control other Devices/1-touch Play/[Uncheck to Disable]
