Roku keeps removing my channels

When I go on my Roku tv upstairs or my Roku downstairs, my channels are removed: Netflix, Prime, etc. I have to add channels every time I want to watch. Netflix helped me once but it happens to all paid subscriptions now consistently. I have already unplugged etc

Re: Roku keeps removing my channels

Roku isn't doing it. They only remove channels that are in violation of their terms of service with Roku, and those channels certainly don't qualify. What is likely happening is someone has access to your network and is using the Roku app on a phone or tablet to mess with your devices. While channels can't be installed or removed from the app, they can control your Roku and as such could remove channels.

Just as a point of clarification, what country are you located in?

Re: Roku keeps removing my channels

@ptah92

To expand on a point to which @atc98092 mentioned, any time an app is removed from one Roku device, it is removed from all Roku devices that are on the same Roku account. So, if someone, intentionally or accidentally, removes an app, it is gone from all devices.

A PIN will stop apps from being added, but a PIN is not required to remove an app, unfortunately.
