Help & troubleshooting for channels on your Roku device, including adding/removing channels, logging in to, authenticating, or activating a channel, channel-specific playback issues, assistance contacting channel publishers to report issues, and adjusting channel-specific settings.
I just purchased the Roku Express. Setup went great. Started by trying to watch Crave. Signed in and everything looked good. Then tried to watch something and Roku kicked me back to the Home Screen. Then tried again. Same thing. now when I try to watch anything it sends me back to the Home Screen. I can’t even add channels. It will send me back. WTF? Help!
If you are powering your Roku by plugging into the USB port on the TV, try powering from house power via the USB power adapter that came with the Roku. Many USB ports only supply 0.5 amp or less, which is not enough to power a Roku reliably.
If you don't have the Roku adapter handy, any other you have from another device should work as long as the fine print on it says it outputs at least 1 amp.

I purchased a Roku express, due to upgrade, now it will not activate, I already have a Roku account, I keep being sent back to the activate your Roku screen, the same screen over and over, I have even taken a break from this for a day or 2 and came back to the same screen, I need help.
We do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.
Try performing a factory reset on the affected device then try linking your existing Roku account once again.
Performing a factory reset using the hardware reset button
On the back or bottom of each Roku device is a reset button. On some devices, there is a tactile button, while other devices have a pinhole button.
If your device has a pinhole button, you will need a paperclip to perform the factory reset.
Once the reset button is located and your Roku device is powered on, press and hold the reset button firmly for about 10 seconds. The indicator light or status LED will blink rapidly on most Roku devices when the factory reset is complete.
