Roku channel not streaming

I have two Roku streaming devices on my account. One will play all channels including the Roku channel; the second will play a few channels and definitely not the Roku channel.

As with similar posts, the channel will open, titles are displayed; I will select a show, the episodes are displayed but when selected, the display returns to the episode listing.

I see a number of posts regarding the issue,. the solution being to remove the Roku channel and reinstall. This is not an option.

Is there a restriction having two devices on my account??

Cheers

Mike

Re: Roku channel not streaming

There's no restriction on the number of devices (well, 20 is the limit), but I've noticed that The Roku Channel operates differently depending on which of my devices I'm using.  I've never figured out what the problem is, but I've assumed it may have something to do with the content blocker I use on my network.  Content blockers and VPNs can definitely affect The Roku Channel.
