I have 3 Roku players. 2 are #Express+, 1 Ultra. One of the Premier units has a very odd problem. It works fine every morning. When return to use again late afternoon, it will not play anything. Live TV audio plays but no video. All streaming movies, TV shows, etc fail to launch with error messages (different codes in different channels but it's in all channels - Hulu, Disney +, Bloomberg Media, etc.). If I immediately check on the other Express+ unit, it is working fine. I've tried rebooting everything (modem, unit, tv) and problem does not clear. It's fine the next morning
Thanks for the post.
Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? What channels are you seeing this issue occur, and what error messages are you respectively seeing? Have you tried checking the Network Connection to the device when you see this issue occur through Settings > Network > Check connection?
With more information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
After watching multiple channels (Bloomberg, CBS All Access & Disney+) this morning, I shut down around noon. When I turned back on at 4pm, Bloomberg would play audio only; CBS All Access would start the program and then stop after about 15 seconds saying playback error; Peacock channel started briefly then indicated an error (don't recall specific phrasing); Hulu started and then stopped with error code P-DEV320; Disney+ wouldn't start saying issue with licensing (or similar). Same thing happened yesterday.
All 5 channels worked fine at that same time on the other TV with Express+.
Yes, I checked connection - internet was fine at 40mbs download. I also tried unplugging everything - the Roku, the TV and the modem and restarting - same issue on just the 1 Express+.
You didn't reply further to my answer to your question. Today brings further weirdness. Had to unplug everything this morning as it didn't clear overnight like it did yesterday. Then, when turned on the Premier having issues with for the 2nd time today, it worked ok until the 2nd episode of a show being played and then same issue - Error message "Unfortunately, an error occurred during playback. Please try again." Have tried numerous times and no fix.
