It's been almost a month....nothing fixed yet....just constant stalling and bs....potential Roku customers beware!
Roku does not give a flying **bleep** bout their customers.
I can agree with that comment above. I went out of my way and jumped through a bunch of hoops for support to provide info weeks ago.
Total silence.
I'm reaching out to Apple next to press them to remove Roku from the HomeKit and AirPlay compatibility list.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the posts.
We are aware of the issue that is affecting Roku devices with connectivity/loading channels and the appropriate Roku team is currently investigating and working on a resolution.
We appreciate your patience during this time. Once more information is available, I'll be sure to post an update on this thread.
Thanks,
Danny

It has been over two months since my Roku TV passed away. I've tried to revive her many times, following the varied and tedious instructions, not only from this support forum, but from tech sites, reddit, you name it. Alas, she is still dead as a doornail. I also downloaded the tvupdate.roku to a flash drive, thinking it would act as a defibrillator to get my girl back up and running. Nope! Message on screen told me it is not allowed to downgrade the software. So, here she is, just sitting lifeless... I blame her parents, as they have made no real attempt to send lifeblood to her system. Off to plan her wake. Anyone else coming?
Seriously, Roku, how 'bout a solution? It's been long enough!
Thanks for the post.
Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? What are you seeing on screen? What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
I resolved the problem by purchasing a Firetvstick. Works like a charm.
that's ridiculous we should have to do that though!
@RokuDanny-R, new member reporting similar issues to everyone else.
The Roku will often claim that it cannot connect to WiFi (phones, laptops, RasPi etc are all fine).
Video quality will be degraded as if the Roku is having bandwidth issues, or the video will simply not play, yet other devices will happily stream the same video on request at the same time.
YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+ can report no network, but the Roku will respond to pings and so it seems to have network.
Roku Details:
Steps to reproduce:
Note: Behaviour is intermittent. Sometimes it will clear after a forced restart or hard reboot (pulling the USB cable), other times not.
Is there an ETA on an update or a rollback of the problematic version?
Thanks for the post.
If you are experiencing intermittent internet connectivity issues, have you tried changing the wireless broadcast channel on the router to see if this will allow your device to connect? Have you tried connecting your Roku device to an alternate wireless network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see you are experiencing the same issue?
Please keep us posted what you find out.
Thanks,
Danny
You need to pull Paramount+. They do NOT fix their issues and they also have problems with refunds. They ignore complaints - nothing ever works. Want proof? Go to 'reviews' on their Facebook page. THIS APP IS HOT GARBAGE AND THEY DON'T CARE. Get rid of this app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
