Channels & viewing

When I signed up for Britbox  (3 days ago) I discovered that Roku was using other pay for channels to enhance their commercial frenzy.  After contacting support and being told it was Britbox's choice.  I contacted Britbox they knew nothing of this., which I wholly believe. I have loved Roku since its inception and thought I never wanted to be without my Roku and until then their topnotch support staff.   But 2022 will see me do just that.  Two more channels that I love and PAY for have been corrupted by Roku  -  MHz and Walter Presents.  Had to cancel them today due to 1 plus minute commercials running to sell or subscribe to other channels.    Shame on you ROKU.   You have forgotten we (your customers/patrons) have choices. We got you here we can also be your demise.

If you subscribe to a premium channel directly with the channel via its website, instead of through Roku, you'll be able to view on the channel's channel app instead of through The Roku Channel, and have no Roku-introduced ads.
