Same issues for several months.  Have corresponded with both Roku and AcornTV.  They both respond with requests for specifics of device, app, wireless etc and then wanted a screen shot!  Ultimately I get an email stating that "issue is resolved."  No resolution, of course.

Kariza.  Your reply is the same one I received and answered in numerous emails over the past number of months.   ROKU stick, stand alone Acorn app.  Still no resolution?

The channel still loads and plays content for me but I've sent AcornTV support my forth and final email. With the latest issues I'm facing, I'm starting to wonder if Acorn is just going to drop support for Roku devices all together.

"When are the issues with Roku owners going to be fixed?

1. Resume episode doesn't work. (started at the beginning of August)
2. When fast forwarding back to where you left off because of issue #1, it takes over a minute to fast forward through 30 minutes of content. Imagine how long it takes you to fast forward if you stopped an episode at the 58 minute mark of a 90 minute program.
3. Recently Watched no longer shows up.
4. Two categories in "Browse All" has an internet connection error show up when selecting 'View All' (Drama & All Shows)."

I apologize for the delay in response.

Does the issue only occur on Acorn TV or across other channels installed on your Roku device?

If you haven't tried yet, you can remove the affected channel and then re-install it. To ensure the process is successful, restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.

We're sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing.

If the issue persists after try attempting my suggestion above, we suggest contacting the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. In this case, there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.

I bought Acorn directly from Acorn not thru Roku and I still cannot resume a show.  I don’t access acorn thru Roku but directly thru the acorn App.

I just sent en email to Acorn about the problem of resuming a show.  I bought Acorn outright last April and havent had any problems until this August.  I do have a roku ready tv.  I have deleted the channel num erous times and nothing happens.  It is still telling me mu software version is 11.0.0 and is up to date.
