I live in UAE and brought Roku from USA. Primevideo is available in this region across all major appstores. However with Roku not available. Anyone can help?

Were you in the US when you set up your Roku account? Your problem may be caused by a conflict between the location indicated by your current IP and the location indicated by your IP when you registered.

You may need to create a new UK-based account using a different email address and link your device to it.  Unfortunately the only way to link to a different account is via a factory reset and set the unit up again as if it were new and right out if the box.

As @makaiguy mentioned, it sounds like you may have created a Roku account that isn't located in your current region. If channels in your region are not available, it may indicate that your device is linked to an account that was created in a different region where that channel may not be offered by the channel provider. You'll want to make sure that you are using an internet connection located in the correct region when creating your account. You can check your IP address' reported location by visiting www.whatismyip.com - If you see an issue, you'll need to contact your ISP to help resolve any issue.

We would recommend creating a new Roku account in your region. I contacted Amazon Prime video support and they are saying both parties should be agree on the availability of prime video on region and according to them only in USA and UK prime video is available on Roku . So please dont buy Roku if you are living any other countries.Roku is thrash . They didnt mention that Prime video is only available in some regions.

Please dont buy roku If you are living outside USA and UK and if you still want to use Amzon Prime. There is no contact option to Roku customer support and if you tried to contact them in community they will simply say that try to contact Amazon support. If you contact Amazon they are saying both parties should be agree on the availability in your regions. Only in USA and UK available Prime on Roku. So please dont buy this trash if you are living outside USA or UK.
