Every time I try to watch Peacock TV it either it loads for a few seconds and then goes back to the home screen or I get only sound and no picture. Is anybody else having trouble?
I don't have Peacock, but in general when things like this happen the first thing to try is to restart your Roku - Settings->System->System restart - or just pull the power for a few seconds and plug it back in. If that doesn't help, pull the power from your modem/router for a few seconds and plug it back in.
There was a recent update that added user profiles, and it's causing problems on some devices. Even some of Comcast's own X1 boxes (mostly XG2 models) are having crashes and similar.
Thanks....I'll try that and see if that works.

And if it doesn't ...
When problems are confined to a particular channel, it may be that the channel did not install correctly, has received a faulty update, or has subsequently gotten corrupted. A reinstall of the channel to get its latest version may fix the problem, so give it a try. Remove/reinstall procedure:
If the problem persists at this point, it typically means the current version of the channel app has a problem that must be addressed by the channel itself as they are the ones that create the Roku-compatible version of their app and provide it to Roku.
I'm having the same issue where it reverts to my home screen every time I try to watch something in Peacock. I've already tried unplugging the tv for over 60 seconds, removing and re-adding the app, clearing cache's, restarting modem and everything! I was already in the app watching TV, then when it went to the next episode of my show, it just stopped working and went back to the home screen. I've tried everything! help?
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
Once we have this information, we will be able to investigate further.
Thanks,
Danny
I have 2 Roku's (4640X and 4630X), on both of them, the Peacock app starts to load, then it goes back to the home screen. I did the report tracker:
Model: 4640X - Roku Ultra
Serial Number YP002T780543 (7LC6C2780543)
Software version: 10.5.0 - build 4208-29
Timestamp: 2022-02-07T02:11:46Z
Please use issue ID 43-053-411 to report the current issue.
Hello @petekz
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Does the issue only occur on the Peacock channel or across other channels installed on your Roku device?
If you haven't tried yet, you can remove the affected channel then re-install it. To ensure the process is successful, make sure to restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
For detailed instructions, refer to this Support link: How do I resolve channel playback issues?
Let us know how it goes!
All the best,

Kariza,
Thanks for the reply! I tried to uninstall/restart/install Peacock (again). I did notice that there was an update to Peacock. But after the re-install it still did the same thing. When I start the Peacock app, the Peacock splash screen appears for about 2 seconds, then it goes back to the Roku home screen.
