I subscribed to Paramount+. I went on my Roku account on the computer and added the Paramount+ app to my Roku account. This is not Paramount+ for Roku Channel; regular Paramount+. When I go on my Roku player (attached to my TV), the app does not appear in my list of apps. When I search for the app in the app store, it shows that I already have the app (check mark). If I click on it there, it allows me to open the app and watch Paramount+. I have tried restarting my Roku player; it didn't add the app to my list.
I thought if I uninstalled the app from my Roku account on the computer and reinstalled it from the Roku player app store, that might work. Turns out you can't uninstall an app from the Roku account. This is the first time I've ever installed an app on the computer, rather than on the Roku player and now I can't get to the app without searching the app store for it.
Any ideas? I've tried every settings menu I can find and haven't had any luck. What am I missing?
Thanks.
@notanidiotand @HDMIGuy , this seems to be a common occurrence when adding an app from the website and not the device itself. The solution is to remove the app and add it from "Streaming Store" on the device itself. You may be wondering how you remove an app that doesn't appear on your Home Screen. @notanidiot I just tried adding Max app from my computer and had exactly the same thing happen that you did. Also restarted my Roku device. Not sure what is going on.
