PBS won't connect to TV (Roku Stick 4K)

Jump to solution

Hi.  I have Roku Stick 4K with my TV.  The setup is all fine.  I've added channels.  I go to watch PBS. I'm asked to register an account with PBS using my mobile because I'm asked to photo the QR Code showing on TV screen. I complete the registration through the mobile.  Then I go back to remote to start PBS channel and it won't open. But it will request again to register with PBS, and go through the QR code again as if I didn't register before. This repeats with 1-2 more tries to register.

Strangely though, the PBS channel opens on my mobile.  I did register from the mobile phone.

But how do I connect PBS with TV?

Related - am I able to view the local PBS in Boston - WGBH?  I search for the channel in roku on tv screen but nothing there. It's not in Live TV either.

Thank you!
