I just tried that, and it didn’t work for me. We lost our YTTV app last Wednesday night (11/20/24).
Hi @KamenRider2049,
Thanks for the response and for providing more details!
We suggest you add the YouTube TV app using the Roku mobile app. Install the Roku mobile app on your phone, log in with your Roku account, and follow the steps below.
If the app is still missing from your Roku device after adding it through the Roku mobile app, go to Settings > System > System update > Check now on the Roku device.

We hope you find this information helpful.

Same issue. Can find YouTube TV _ONLY_ via search.
When selecting it, it only gives the option to "Open App", vs "Add App" like all other ones normally do.

After you add a channel from the Roku Channel Store, a square tile with a channel icon is added to the grid of channel tiles that appears under Home on the main screen of your Roku® streaming player or Roku TV™. Scroll down and you will find the newly installed channel at the bottom of the grid.
If you prefer, you can move the channel to a different location.
Use the instructions below if you wish to move the channel to a new location on your Home screen.
In addition, you can set each app and make it show on your channel tile list by navigating to Settings > Home Screen > App Order> [Manual].
We hope this works, and let us know if you have further concerns or inquiries.
Best wishes,
Kash
Thanks for the reply @RokuTakashi
Yes, I do this with the other tiles on the home screen as well.
Thing is, the YT TV tile isn't even visible there, even though it's been installed.
Currently the only way to get to YT TV is to do a search for it, which becomes tedious since it's one of the most used apps for us on the platform.
Also, maybe my version of Roku is different, but I see no option for App Order. I normally have to highlight the app tile and click * to move each one individually. But again, the YT TV tile is not there to move.
Thanks for looking into it.
