One Roku device has Olympics link, the other does not.

Jump to solution

I have two TVs each with their own Roku Ultra. The Roku in my Living Room now has a "2020 Tokyo Olympics" menu selection right under "Home" (great!) My other Roku device in my den does not. I just made it do an update and it still doesn't have the Olympics option. Why? How do I add it?

Try toggling between show/hide all of the options at Settings/Home Screen:   Change them opposite of what they currently are set to, then go to Home - repeat that with all at "show", and then all at "hide".

That should make "Tokyo Olympics 2020" appear in the place of "My Feed" and Settings/Home Screen/2020 Tokyo Olympics appear as a setting.

Weird, but it worked. As soon as I switched everything from SHOW to HIDE, it appeared! Thanks for the reply!

Its very poor programming by Roku - especially for a temporary UI change.

It also frustrates those who my want "My feed" and not "2020 Tokyo Olympics" (turning off the Olympics option doesnt enable My Feed  because it replaces it temporarily).

This solution did not work for me. How do I get the Olympics link? I still see My Feed.

Try:

1) Check for updates:  Settings/System/System updates/Check now

2) Restart your Roku:  Settings/System/System restart/Restart

None of the suggestions to solve this issue work for me. It should be very clear how to make this work

I have three Roku Ultra's. One has the Olympics in the hub while the other two do not. I want to have it fixed because it's called ULTRA!!!
