Not getting past first ROKU screen

I have (I believe) a ROKU Express and have used it for less than a year.  Today when I try to use it it wont go to home screen it just sits on the first Roku page (the one with the word ROKU bouncing a bit) and appears to not be getting any signal.

I have switched on and off.  I have tried connecting directly to the TV (as opposed to the switching box I have been using).  I have checked the remote batteries etc.  I have stuck a pin in the reset hole on the unit (twice - once while connected and once not).  Our wifi signal is fine on all other devices.

Can anyone suggest anything else, please?

Are you using the supplied power adapter and not your TV's USB port?  Do you have another USB cable and/or USB power adapter (from a phone or tablet) that you can try?
