Channels & viewing

I have set up the Hitachi• Roku smart TV but streaming channels such as the roku channel, espn, hulu etc are not available for me to add. I did a reboot and also a factory reset twice but this changed nothing. Need some help please.

No I’m in Trinidad and Tobago (Caribbean) but I did select USA as my region.

Many channels/apps are region locked.  Your Roku account has to be created in a supported region and you must be trying to view it in a supported region.

Hi.  I live in New Mexico.  I changed the region over and over after resetting to factory settings to USA.

No Ruku, not even PBS shows up as available in the junk selection channel listings. Even the Roku remote says sling, vudu, and hulu on it, but these channels do not appear in the listings available.  I feel so ripped off.  The only thing I can watch is youtube.  Since I am getting internet through Xfinity otherwise known as Comcast, I wonder if they even block my TV from getting just straight up internet access, because as before, I can only get youtube on my 1080 HDTV by using my Roku.  It sucks!

Can you email me any suggestions please?  I can't believe there is no help from Roku - what a sham.

@Bernadettefull, try creating a new Roku account with a different email address and perform another factory reset.  When you go through the setup again, link it to the new account.
