When device is turned on I receive all menu options but when try to view a channel/app all I get is audio. Video shows a purple screen, I have to reset the Roku to view properly each time. Something set up incorrectly?
You could try using a different HDMI cable or HMDI port on your TV. Sounds like you're experiencing the HDCP(Content Protection) error.

You can also try setting your Display settings to your preferred display rather than leaving auto-detect enabled. Settings...Display Type... and then do a System Restart.
