I just got the Roku Ultra LT for $30 from Walmart as a Black Friday deal, although, due to a snafu I got the 2021 model 4801RW instead of the 2019 model 4662RW.  Score!

I have my 4801RW setup, except for one thing.  The Live TV on The Roku Channel tile will not appear on my home screen, nor can I find it by using the Search in the streaming channels. All my other Rokus (Ultra 2019 - 4670X, Ultra 2020 - 4800X and Premiere+ 2016 - 4630X) are already on the OS 10.5.0 Build 4201 and all of them have this tile.  When removed from one of the other boxes, it disappears on the other two.  When I add the tile back through the roku.com page, these three Rokus show the tile again, BUT not the new 4801RW.

The only difference I notice is the OS on the 4801 is OS 10.5.1 Build 4055.  Is there a bug with this tile and this newer build that the LT has?

For clarification, when you add the channel through the Roku Channel Store online, are you making sure to check for a system update for each of the Roku devices through Settings > System > System update > Check now? 

Please be aware that adding a channel through the Roku website does not readily add the channels onto your Roku device.

Please look at the attached pictures. Compare the "Ultra LT" one of each type screen to the "Others" equivalent.  You will see that the "Live TV on the Roku Channel" appears on every one of the "Others" screens, meaning my Roku Ultra 2020, Ultra 2019 and Premiere + 2016 boxes.  It does not appear anywhere on the same screens for my brand new Ultra LT 2021 running 10.5.1 build 4059.

Can you submit a ticket to the Roku OS development team about this bug?  It is as if this channel was not approved for display on either model 4801RW or on Roku OS 10.5.1.

Thanks for the information.

As a current workaround, we would recommend trying to access LIVE TV through The Roku Channel. In the meantime, I have relayed your concerns and information to the appropriate Roku team to investigate the issue you are seeing. Once more information is available, I'll be sure to update this thread.

I did figure out the workaround through the regular Roku channel.  As a computer programmer by trade, I wanted to make sure that the Roku OS Programmers were fully aware of this issue.

I would love to know what caused this particular bug.

Danny, thanks for submitting the bug report.  I checked last night and the channel tile does show up for my Roku Ultra LT model 4801RW.
