Hello, when I tey to log into Netflix from my Roku screen, Netflix is failing to load. I jusy get the Netflix logo, and it goes back to the home acreen again. I have tried to uninstall the channel, turn the TV off, and then reinstalling Netflix, it has not worked. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much
Does the issue only occur on Netflix or across other channels installed on your Roku TV? If it's just on one channel, we suggest reaching out to Netflix Support to report the issue and get help. Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel provider themselves. In this case, there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.
I have the exact same problem. My netflix works on my smart tv, but it won't work on the roku. When i punch the netflix button on my roku remote, then RED NETFLIX logo popsup like it is going to work, then it goes back to the roku home screen. i checked for updates, i checked for cold boot of roku, and soft systemm reboot using the remote. same problem over and over and over ...it is very aggravating. we really like the netflix thing and this has been our first problem with the roku.
I could not find where to remove Netflix, so I did a System Restore to Factory settings. I had to type in all of my wifi and all other settings including my roku account and netflix account, but after i set it back to factory and typed in all of the passwords and account id's it all is working good now. I hope this gets back to the post board so someone else can benefit from it. THANK YOU SINCERELY for the nudge to remove the netflix app. It lead me to go ahead and restore to factor to start anew. Thankfully this worked for us.
