I have a different HBO Max provider now with a different password. I don't know how to change the password so I can get into my HBO Max. I did it on my computer but can't on my tv.
You should be able to log out of the HBO Max channel on your Roku, then log back in with your new credentials. Worst case would be to remove the channel, reboot the Roku (critical step, don't skip), then add the channel back in. That would clear all previous login information.

That's the problem. I don't see how to sign out of HBO
Open HBO Max, then use the left button to open the menu on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to Settings at the bottom. Once Settings is open, scroll all the way to the right, and you will see Sign Out.
I also needed to change the user and login with my account information. Channel was removed, Roku restarted, added back in. Old user information is still there. I also reset the box to factory. Same story.
