I just subscribed to the new Discovery plus channel but I'm trying to figure out how to navigate around the app using my Roku remote. I can't seem to get to any of the other Seasons of any shows. It only back me out of the app. I've written to both Discovery and Roku with no response. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have been using the app for about a week and this started today. It did not resume a program that I was watching, I had to search for it (Say Yes to the Dress) When I select the series, it kicks me completely out of the Discovery Plus app and back to the Roku home screen. Did this multiple times. Very unhappy.
Same thing happens to me with other series. I think they're just trying to get the kinks out of the app. When I first started using Discovery plus app it would reboot my Roku about every two shows. that's kind of subsided now but I still have a problem with it locking up and throwing me out. Other times the screen just goes black after an episode ends. I've written to discovery about 10 times but they have answered me only once saying that their programmers were working on the black screen problem. We should just keep this thread open and see what happens if I hear anything I'll post it
Last night while I was watching four weddings it kept popping out of the show like you were talking about it did for you. I had to keep going back in and restarting.
Discovery also told me to remove the app off my Roku and reinstall it but when I push the asterisk like I do with any other app there's usually a section that says remove app there is no place to remove the app with Discovery plus. Do you have that problem?
I just got notice from Discovery that there's an update for the app you just have to go to your Roku home screen highlight the discovery app hit *on your remote and click update. It should be 1.22 see if that changes anything
