Every time I click an episode it just kicks me out to the "Play episode" screen.
You need to contact whoever published the channel.
Make sure its updated. and try rebooting Roku.
They do have a presence on YouTube also.

When problems are confined to a particular channel, it may be that the channel did not install correctly, has received a faulty update, or has subsequently gotten corrupted. A reinstall to get the latest version may fix the problem, so give it a try.

Then that mostly likely means that the problem is with the programming of the channel app itself and not that "the channel did not install correctly, has received a faulty update, or has subsequently gotten corrupted".
The channel owners create their own Roku channel apps, provide them to Roku, and maintain them. The only channels controlled by Roku are their own Roku Channel and Roku Media Player. For other channels, Roku just provides the platform on which they run. Problems in how a particular channel operates should be directed to that channel.
NJPW is on the Roku Channel haha. So the Roku Channel isn't working for me.
I suspect the content is still coming from NJPW only going through The Roku Channel such that the problem is at NJPW's end, but Roku is the best choice for bringing the problem to them.

Exact same problem happening for me with NJPW and several other programs on the Roku Channel. I, too, am located in Canada and have done everything from reinstall the channel to rebooting the router/modem.
Looking forward to the fix!
