I have a verified valid NHLLive login. But the NHL app says my email and password are invalid. Ive spoken with NHL support and they tell me that my account is valid and in good standing, and that the app just doesnt work on some devices. Is there anything else I can try? Any known workarounds to get this working? I'm paying thirty bucks a month for a channel I should be able to use.

Good. That should give you access on any platform supported by NHL.
2. I am attempting to login through the NHL app that came with the TV (its a Roku TV by Onn).
Also good. Roku is not involved with this subscription so the NHL app is all you want to mess with.
3. Yes, I can access NHL Live through their website, and the login specifically references logging in with my NHL live id, which I use. Everything else on the app works fine, I can view clips, manage my team info, etc. I just cant access the premium content I paid for.
This is NHL's app. They created the Roku-compatible version of their app and maintain it. Roku just provides the platform on which to run it.
When problems are confined to a particular channel, it may be that the channel did not install correctly, has received a faulty update, or has subsequently gotten corrupted. A reinstall of the channel to get its latest version may fix the problem, so give it a try. Remove/reinstall procedure:
If the problem persists at this point, it typically means the current version of the channel app has a problem that must be addressed by the channel itself as they are the ones that create the Roku-compatible version of their app and provide it to Roku.
To clarify:
How did you subscribe to NHL - directly with NHL on their website, thru Roku, thru some other third party?
How are you attempting access NHL - on a dedicated NHL app on Roku, thru The Roku Channel?
Can you log into your account on the NHL website and view things there?
Thank you for asking.
