I purchased Peacock through Roku so I can watch yellowstone. It is on my list of available channels to I go to watch the 2nd episode of Yellowstone (1st episode was free) and it tells me I need a premium membership. I bought the premium membership. But it won't let me watch it. It goes back to telling me a need the premium membership. It then tells me I have puchased it and I need to check my channels on my.roku.com. I do that and on there is also says that I have purchased it. So how do I get Roku to somehow talk to the streaming app to "unlock" that I have paid for this app. Both Peacock and Roku say that I have paid for it BUT I can't get into the episode to watch it. Has anyone else had this issue?
You dont mention your Roku model #/firmware version.
Try restarting your Roku and see if that fixes it.
If that doesnt work, when you open Peacock TV, scroll all the way to to the account/profile icon at the top right, select it, and see what plan it says you have under Account, and that you are "signed in as" at the bottom left. If you arent signed in, try using the email address you used with your Roku account.
Okay my Roku version is the Roku Premiere - 3920X.
I restarted my Roku and that didn't work.
I did everything that you stated and it shows that I have the free version of Peacock on my screen, so then if I try to select the Premium it says I already have it. But the free version is what has the check mark by it. And I have paid for it (1 months worth) so I know I have it. I don't have a smart TV but my husband does in the man cave and he can get every episode no problem. So it is just a problem with my TV and Peacock and Roku not talking to each other for some reason.
Maybe do an update either by pressing *button when highlighting the Peacock channel, or do a System Update which updates both the Roku OS and your channels. (Settings..System...System Update..Check Now)
Subscriptions for the Peacock are linked to an email account. Maybe something went a little askew there and not being recognized. Here is Peacock's help page and there is also a Chat Online tab lower right. Probably have to contact them if the above doesn't work for you. https://www.peacocktv.com/help/

Are both your Rokus linked to the same Roku account? Check on each via Settings/System/About. The email address shown identifies your account.
If on the same account, try this:
Go back into your Peacock account as before, and sign out of your account. Now sign back in and see if your subscription on that Roku updates.
Another thought. You said you subscribed through Roku. If you're trying to access Peacock through the Peacock channel app, try going through The Roku Channel.
Okay so here's the latest. I started with doing a chat with peacock. They told me that they only see me as being on the free stream. I told them that Roku took out money of my account on 2/23 and that I had paid for premium. Peacock told me that I needed to contact Roku as it was something on their end that they didn't relay onto Peacock. Keep in mind when I log onto Peacock on a computer and the app on TV that it shows that I only have the free but when I try to "upgrade" it says that I already have premium. So I chatted with Roku and they said all we do is take the money for Peacock, it is really their issue. so I get in contact again with Peacock and they state that they still don't show that I have anything but the free app. I then asked them for an email address so I could send them a snippet of what came out of my bank account and then she then finally said she would push it further onto her team to see if they could figure out the issue. So that's where it is at for now. I guess we will see if I get a call back or not. Seems like a lot of work for literally $5.31 a month but I want what I paid for.
If you guys have anymore ideas, keep them coming. I have been trying all of them as they are coming in.
What was the end result? Going through the same situation now.
I deleted my peacock app and reinstalled and it worked
