Mtv live keeps closing out and returning to Roku home screen.

For the past month when I am watching Mtv live it will close out and kick back to the Roku home screen. I have deleted and readded the app. Deleted and reset the wifi, unplugged the roku stick and tv and nothing has helped. It mostly happens when there is about to be a commercial but has closed out in the middle of a program as well. I have also manually check for updates, and its up to date.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

Does the issue only occur on the MTV channel or across other channels installed on your Roku device? 

Also, did you restart your Roku device before reinstalling the channel? That step is crucial when performing the troubleshooting. If you haven't tried the suggested order (remove > restart > reinstall), we would recommend giving it a shot once again. We also suggest doing the restart from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
