I have been having major issues with Acorn on the Roku Channel over the last week or two.
The main show I am watching right now is called "Doc Martin".
When I select "Acorn on the Roku Channel" app from my Roku homescreen, it no longer shows the program in my recently viewed history on the app main screen. It used to always show it, but never does now.
Now I have to go to the Roku homescreen and search for the show in order to get it to come up with different app viewing options.
Then, when I select "Acorn on the Roku Channel" from the viewing options for the season of the show I want, it will play but not where I left off. There is no way this is how the app was designed to work, since it worked fine before.
The other major issue here is that it will start randomly playing certain episodes as Spanish overdubs, even though BOTH the Roku settings and the App Settings are set to English. I don't know why this is occurring, but it's obviously some kind of glitch as the settings on my end are 100% correct.
Please fix your app "Acorn on the Roku Channel". I'm paying for a subscription and it's a huge PITA to use right now.
Thanks for the post.
We would be more than happy to look further into this issue for you. Can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-content title and specific season/episodes that you see this issue occur with
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times and provide us with this ID)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
Once we have this information, we will be able to investigate further.

I will have to get back to you with the tracker ID next time it happens.
Here is the other info:
"Acorn TV On the Roku Channel" Channel App
Version 6.0, build 15
3810X - Roku Streaming Stick+
S/N YH00HU394555
Software 11.0.0 build 4193-50
Device ID 2159DH394555
Content:
Doc Martin, seasons 2, 3, and 4
Certain episodes will play in Spanish randomly. This happens when I click on the next episode the following day after I watched the previous episode the day before.
I don't remember the specific episodes, but this has been happening a lot lately over the last 2 weeks. It never happened before that.
When I click on the "Acorn TV on the Roku Channel" app on my Roku home screen, it doesn't always show "Doc Martin" in my recent watched history either, so I have to search for it using the microphone button on the remote or by typing it in on the home screen. The program seems to occasionally vanish from the app.
Nothing I'm doing here is abnormal. The app is very glitchy lately, please fix it.
Thanks for the follow up and providing us with the requested information.
I have passed along your concerns and information to the appropriate Roku team to investigate this issue. Once more information is available, I'll be sure to update this Community thread.
Thanks,
Danny
We are struggling to get all of season 10 for Doc Martin. We can only view three episodes. It was the reason we signed up for ACORN. Whats the deal????
Much awaited season 10 of Doc Martin is in the process of being released on Acorn, one episode a week.
