Is anyone else having a problem? Every time I try to play any live radio feed for a game it does not play. If I try it as a replay the following day it works fine. I usually only use it when ESPN is broadcasting. I can't stand them, so I play the video on one TV and sync it with the radio feed from another TV. This year it comes in handy when Apple or Peacock games are on. I have rebooted, hard reboot as well as soft. Uninstalled, and reinstalled the app to no avail.
Thanks for the inquiry.
Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to the channel provider directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on that channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.
Thanks,
Danny
I had the same problem with MLB when they were broadcasting from a third party like ESPN. I called MLB customer service and they said it's a known problem with the MLB Roku channel. They are "working on it."
I have done all the usual steps to no avail. I called them one day last week and was told that they were going to escalate to the next level of tech support, and that someone would call me back. That did not happen. So I emailed them. They then told me they would be looking in to it, Again I was told that they would be in touch. That was on June 11th. As of today it is yet to be fixed.
Thanks for responding. Glad to know, at least I am not alone.
MLB support complaint #1: 'We're working on it'
MLB support complaint #2: 'It's a Roku issue, contact them' (which is impossible)
I'm furious.
Tried it -- didn't work.
This is unacceptable.
I wrote to them again on Sunday morning, asking for any possible updates. Outside of the autobot response I got crickets. Usually there has been at least some response, this time nothing.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the post.
As stated previously in this thread, for more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
Thanks,
Danny
It seems the issue has been fixed as of yesterday
